Getting started
- Connect the LR V3.0 to the vehicle’s 16-pin diagnostic port.
- Switch the ignition on.
- Use AutoVIN where supported, or select the vehicle manually.
- Run Auto Scan or enter a control unit for codes, live data, active tests and service functions.
Compatibility
The LR V3.0 is designed for supported Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles, with current iCarsoft coverage spanning models from the OBD2 era through current supported model years. Function availability depends on the exact vehicle and ECU.
Troubleshooting
AutoVIN does not identify the vehicle
Use manual vehicle selection. AutoVIN support varies by ECU and model year and a failed automatic identification does not by itself indicate a faulty scanner.
A service function is missing
Service functions, adaptations and active tests are vehicle- and ECU-specific. Update the scanner before checking coverage.
